Parque de los Lavaderos Park in Tenerife is a hidden gem that offers visitors a unique experience. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the stunning natural beauty of the park and its peaceful atmosphere.

Located in El Sauzal, the park was once an ancient laundry and has since been converted into a leisure space.

One of the most notable features of Parque de los Lavaderos Park is its beautiful stone bridge, fountains, and waterfalls. As I walked around the park, I was amazed by the stunning views of the sea and the Teide volcano.

Location and History of the Parque de los Lavaderos Park, Tenerife North

Los Lavaderos Park

Parque de los Lavaderos Park is located in the town of El Sauzal on the island of Tenerife, which is part of the Canary Islands. The address of the park is Calle Los Lavaderos, s/n (esquina con Calle Sierva de Dios), El Sauzal, Tenerife.

The park is situated on top of a 200-meter cliff, offering stunning views of the ocean and the Teide volcano.

Parque de los Lavaderos, El Sauzal, Tenerife North

The park has a rich history that dates back to the 16th century. It was originally used as a washing place, where people would come to do their laundry.

The park’s name, “Los Lavaderos,” comes from this historical use. In 1987, the park was converted into a leisure park, and it has since become a popular spot for both locals and tourists.

The garden is divided into two sections: the upper section and the lower section.

The upper section is where you’ll find the entrance to the park, as well as a playground and a picnic area. From the upper section, you can also access the lower section of the park via a set of stairs.

The lower section is where you’ll find the park’s main attractions, including an old stone bridge, fountains, and waterfalls.

El Sauzal is a charming town located in the north of Tenerife. It is known for its beautiful architecture, including the Church of San Pedro Apóstol and the Casa de los Marqueses de Santa Cruz.

The town is also home to several restaurants and cafes where you can sample traditional Canarian cuisine.
