In this section, I will describe the appearance and size of this incredible tree.

Appearance

The Pino Gordo tree has a massive trunk that can reach up to 10 meters in circumference. Its bark is thick and deeply furrowed, protecting the harsh weather conditions of the area.

The tree’s branches are strong and sturdy, supporting the weight of its massive crown of pine needles.

One of the most striking features of the Pino Gordo tree is its ability to capture moisture from the clouds that often shroud the area. This moisture is essential for the survival of the tree, as it can be stored in its roots and used during periods of drought.
