I knew I had to check it out for myself.

Upon arriving at Aqualand Tenerife, I was impressed by the park’s size and the number of attractions available. From thrilling water slides to relaxing lazy rivers, there was something for everyone.

I particularly enjoyed the dolphin show, which was included in the ticket price and provided a unique opportunity to see these intelligent creatures up close.

Overall, AquaLand Tenerife was a great addition to my trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Location and History of Aqualand Waterpark in Tenerife

As I write about AquaLand Tenerife, I find it essential to discuss its location and history.

Aqualand

AquaLand Tenerife is situated in Costa Adeje, a beautiful coastal town in the south of Tenerife, one of the seven Canary Islands. Aqualand Tenerife’s address is Avenida de Austria, 15 – 38660 Costa Adeje, Tenerife.

Costa Adeje is known for its luxurious resorts, golden beaches, and vibrant nightlife. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Aqualand Tenerife is one of the largest water parks on the island, covering an area of over 50,000 square meters. It was opened in 1986 and has been entertaining visitors for over three decades.

The park is owned and operated by Aspro Parks, a Spanish company that manages several other water parks and attractions across Europe.

How to get there

The park is easily accessible by car, taxi, or public transportation.

If you’re coming from Los Cristianos, you can take bus number 111, which stops right outside the park. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and the fare is around €2.

If you’re driving, there is ample parking available at the park.

The park’s location in Costa Adeje is ideal for visitors as it is close to several other attractions and amenities.

There are plenty of hotels, restaurants, and shops in the area, making it easy for visitors to plan their day and explore the town.

As I visited Aqualand Tenerife, I was amazed by the variety of attractions and facilities that the park had to offer. Here are some of the highlights:

Water Slides

Aqualand Tenerife has an impressive selection of water slides that cater to all ages and thrill levels.

From the high-speed “Kamikaze slide” to the more leisurely “Crazy Race slide“, there is something for everyone. The slides are well-maintained and offer a safe and enjoyable experience.

Wave Pool

The park’s wave pool is a popular attraction, providing a fun and refreshing way to cool off on a hot day.

The waves are strong enough to make you feel like you’re in the ocean, but not so strong that they’re overwhelming. It’s a great place to relax and have some fun with friends or family.

Lazy River

If you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, the lazy river is the perfect option.

The slow-moving current takes you on a gentle ride around the park, allowing you to take in the scenery and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a great way to unwind and recharge.

Rapids

For those looking for a bit more excitement, the park’s rapids offer a thrilling ride down a fast-moving river.

The rapids are designed to mimic the feeling of a natural river, complete with twists, turns, and drops. It’s a great way to get your adrenaline pumping.

They’re a great place to take a break between rides or to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Food and Drinks

Aqualand Tenerife has a variety of food and drink options available, from snacks and drinks to full meals.

The food and drinks are said to be overpriced and do not provide good value for your money, so you will be better off bringing your own or shopping at situated nearby supermarket. Access with glass containers is prohibited.
