Attractions Tenerife

July 16th, 2010

After going on one of our whale watching tours, many of our customers ask me about other attractions that they can do in Tenerife (disclosure: I’m co-owner of Eden Catamaran).
I have prepared a nice summary below with all the main attractions on the island, so that our customers and anyone else visiting this site will be well informed.
We are not remunerated for promoting the companies mentioned below. This is just a value added service for our customers. We’ve added the official websites and phone numbers wherever it was possible so that you can contact them directly.

Whale Watching tours (Playa de las Americas) Tenerife is one of the best destinations in the world for watching whales and dolphins. In other places, such as Hawaii or Vancouver, you can only see whales for 3 months of the year, and a very low percentage of the tours succeed at finding these fascinating sea mammals. In Tenerife South, there is a colony of over 500 pilot whales living permanently a few miles from the coast, and +99% of the tours are successful at finding them – any time of the year!
